On a monthly basis millions of people are considering to start a home based business online. Why do you think that is? A home based business can potentially become the vehicle that many people like yourself are looking for in order to achieve their goals and dreams.
As a matter of fact 79,000,000 (yes million) Americans plan to start their OWN businesses in the next 3 years (Forbes Magazine). The great majority will do it through a Network Marketing / Direct Sales Model Online! In fact, both Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki recommend the Network Marketing industry in their latest book: “Why We Want You To Be Rich.”
Now the question is will you be one of those 79 million people that will start a home based business online? Being a home based business owner is no different than having a traditional Brick and Mortar Business. So if you are considering starting your home based business, be ready to work. BUT, there is one HUGE difference though between starting a home based business online and starting a traditional brick and mortar business.
1. Traditional Brick and Mortar business usually require substantial amounts of capital to start. (With this economy, I don’t know what bank is willing to risk money on a start up. On the other hand a home based business although requiring some capital it does not come close to what a traditional business will require you to invest.
2. Traditional Business will force you to carry some sort of liability insurance that can cost thousands on its own. In a home based business no insurance is necessary.
3. Traditional business will require you to have employees and you will have to deal with payroll. In a home based business your employee is the INTERNET that runs for your 24/7 365 days a year non-stop. Sounds good right? That is what we call LEVERAGE!
4. Traditional business will require monthly expensive rents, utility bills, phones, credit card machines, merchant accounts. With a home based business your home is your office and all you need is a computer a telephone a burning desire to succeed.
And lastly, the number one reason by people like yourself consider to start a home based business online, is FREEDOM!
Freedom from the 9-5 job, freedom from a boss, freedom from the commute to work on a daily basis, freedom to live life on your terms, freedom to spend time doing the things you love to do and spend it with the people you want. Can you envision that?
Therefore if you’re on the fence on whether to start a home based business, I welcome you to explore http://www.theinternetbriefcase.com/ You owe it yourself to have the best home based business opportunity that market has to offer.

Risk Management and Insurance $74.55 For many years, introductory insurance textbooks presented insurance as a subject based in contracts. Slowly, the course has moved toward a consumer orientation, providing students with a broad, descriptive survey of the insurance field, covering topics such as legal aspects, life and health, and property and liability. Over the past 10 years, textbooks began to promote, and to a limited degree, incorporate a stronger business risk management component while maintaining a consumer orientation. Harrington/Niehaus’ Risk Management and Insurance 2e is written to take the next step offering the essential aspects of insurance contracts and the insurance industry while providing a substantially more conceptual analysis and attention to business risk management and public policy issues that exists in current texts. |

Particularly in the case of life insurance, OECD countries have pursued a variety of methods to try to tax the income arising in insurance companies. This study analyses the policy and technical problems that arise in designing an effective means of income taxation. Allianz and the German Insurance Business, 1933 1945 $69.98 Gerald Feldman’s history of the internationally prominent insurance corporation Allianz AG in the Nazi era is based largely on new or previously unavailable archival sources, making this a more accurate account of Allianz and the men who directed its business than was ever before possible. Feldman takes the reader through varied cases of collaboration and conflict with the Nazi regime with fairness and a commitment to informed analysis, touching on issues of damages in the Pogrom of 1938, insuring facilities used in forced labor camps, and the problems of denazification and restitution. The broader issues examined in this study–when cooperation with Nazi policies was compulsory and when it was complicit, the way in which profit, ideology, and opportunism played a role in corporate decision making, and the question of how Jewish insurance assets were expropriated–are particularly relevant today given the ongoing international debate about restitution for Holocaust survivors. This book joins a growing body of scholarship based on open access to the records of German corporations in the Nazi era. Gerald D. Feldman is Professor of History at the University of California at Berkeley. His book, The Great Disorder (Oxford, 1993) received the DAAD Book Prize of the German Historical Association and the Book Prize for Central European History from the American Historical Association. He was an invited expert at the London Gold Conference in December 1997 and at the U.S. Conference on Holocaust Assets in Washington, D.C. in December 1998 and served as an advisor to the Presidential Commision on Holocaust Assets in the United States. |

Gender and Home-Based Employment $139.48 Gender often influences the type of occupation that individuals choose, as well as the way they work and the outcomes of that work. Home-based employment is no different. The proximity of these workers to their families’ living activities provides an unique opportunity to study the effects of work-at-home on family interaction and the role that gender plays in this traditionally female-dominated situation. The chapters provide a range of gender considerations from the perspectives of the workers and the workers’ families, with emphasis on either the workers, the family, or the work/business. The first chapter provides an overview of the subjects being covered and defines several of the concepts used. The range of viewpoints is extensive: Chapter 2 considers home-based employment from a global perspective, while Chapter 8 narrows the focus to one particular location and type of home-based worker. Chapters 3, 4, 5, and 7 examine in various ways the data from a 9-state study, basing their analyses in theoretical and conceptual frameworks related to gender. Chapter 6 explores the dilemma of parents who have to hire child care in order to complete their home-based work. Also included are recommendations for public policy considerations. |

The Fair Value of Insurance Business $186.98 Risk Management: FASB recently postponed the implementation of its new rules on accounting for the use of derivatives instruments. However, if the final set of rules for figuring the fair value of derivatives is not carefully crafted, it may be possible that companies prudently hedging their risks are subject to penalties in their financial reports, while companies taking greater risks appear to have less volatile financial performance. Compared to banks and other financial intermediaries, life insurance companies have the longest term and most complex liabilities, and hence the new FASB requirement poses the most severe challenges to the life insurance industry. The lessons learned from the debate among life insurance academics and professionals about how respond to the fair value reporting rule will be instructive to their counterparts in other sectors of the insurance industry, as well as those involved with other financial institutions. Of particular note are the two papers which comprise Part III. The first provides examples of the fair valuing of annuity contracts, while the second offers examples of the fair valuing of term insurance products. As the papers collected in The Fair Value of Insurance Business extend and update some of the issues treated in a previous Salomon Center conference volume, The Fair Value of Insurance Liabilities, this new volume may be viewed as a companion to the earlier book. |

Islamic Insurance $47.48 Some Muslims believe insurance is unnecessary, as society should help its victims. Muslims can no longer ignore the fact that they live, trade and communicate with open global systems, and they can no longer ignore the need for banking and insurance. Aly Khorshid demonstrates how initial clerical apprehensions were overcome to create pioneering Muslim-friendly banking systems, and applies the lessons learnt to a workable insurance framework by which Muslims can compete with non-Muslims in business and have cover in daily life. The book uses relevant Quranic and Sunnah extracts, and the arguments of pro- and anti-insurance jurists to arrive at its conclusion that Muslims can enjoy the peace of mind and equity of an Islamic insurance scheme. |

Fire Insurance; The Essentials of the Fire Insurance Business $21.48 Purchase of this book includes free trial access to www.million-books.com where you can read more than a million books for free. This is an OCR edition with typos. Excerpt from book: CHAPTER III FIRE INSURANCE IN THE UNITED STATES A survey of the subject of insurance in the United States naturally falls into four periods, each of which has its own peculiar characteristics. We do not mean by this that the growth was not gradual, but rather that there were certain distinct elements in one period which distinguishes it from the others. These periods are as follows: First Period?Formative Time?1721-1835. Second Period?Reservation? 1835-1866. Third Period?Co-operation and Rates?1866-1911. Fourth Period?Growth of Government Insurance?1906 to the Present Time. First Period Formation of Companies The early colonists who came to this country were largely inhabitants of northern Europe. Some came from England, some from France, others from the Netherlands and some from Germany. The Englishman brought with him the ideas, customs and political thought of England, and the Frenchman the same from France. This was equally true of the Hollander and the German. The need of some form of protection against the perils of the sea and the ravages of fire was felt by the people of northern Europe. The plan, however, had not been worked out and it was in a very crude condition. There canbe no question but what those who braved the dangers of the sea felt the greater need of protection and were consequently the first in the field with requests for insurance. As early as 1682 vessels engaged in trade between England and the Colonies were insured against the dangers of the sea. Vessels coming to Boston. Philadelphia, New Amsterdam, and Jamestown were undoubtedly insured as were also their cargoes. Marine insurance was, therefore, the first form to be found in the early Colonies. In 1 721 an advertisement appeared in the American Weekly Mercury announcing that Jo… |
